We will consistently focus on high-impact initiatives like Safe Teams, to improve our proactive intervention and risk identification strategies.

• Leveraging Data: In 2024 we will leverage the data from our Employee Value Proposition data gathering sessions and climate survey feedback to enhance well-being and safety, driving our 2024 priorities.

• Change Management: Change is inevitable, and it is a testament to our organization's adaptability that we have safely operated with the ever-changing markets. As we navigate 2024, it is important to communicate openly, support one another, and embrace the opportunities for growth that change brings. Our success lies in our ability to face challenges head-on and emerge stronger as a united team.

ARAUCO exhibited at the 2023 Shed Builder Expo in Knoxville, Tennessee, and featured a custom built AraucoPly® plywood shed crafted by Oakland Structures of Waynesboro, Georgia. The shed was a main attraction to local and national communities showcasing the beauty of sustainable wood construction and storage solutions. Visitors who took the time to explore found the interior thoughtfully designed with ARACUO Prism® TFL cabinetry,* shelving, and slatwall elements. 

Our shed builder, Ryan Keller, from Oakland Structures said, “I was pleasantly surprised with putting this building together. The lightweight siding was nice to work with, it laid flat. The paint and staining process went well with the primed product….so I saw quite a few benefits with the siding.”

Thanks to all who visited the Shed Builder Expo and took the time to learn more about ARAUCO’s sustainable practices and products and meet the people behind it all.

New CEU Course Coming in 2024

Explore the True Meaning of "Sustainability" When it Comes to Furniture and Interior Design Materials. 

The concept of sustainability has been widely embedded in popular culture, to the extent that some of the science around climate change has been distorted or overlooked. This new course contributes to understanding how the thoughtful selection of building materials can positively impact carbon cycles and climate change. Considerations include how sustainable forestry helps restore natural cycles of renewal, and the role played by wood in long-term carbon sequestration. It carries a one-hour learning unit for IDCEC and AIA members.
