Meet Ken Sawatzky, a dedicated Lamination Technician who’s been a vital part of the ARAUCO family for 15 years. Based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ken brings consistency, teamwork, and a positive attitude to every shift.

As an operator, Ken’s days are typically busy and hands-on. He plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations on the floor, contributing to the quality and efficiency of the lamination process.
🤝 What He Enjoys Most
For Ken, it’s all about the people. “Working with other people” is what makes each day rewarding and keeps him motivated.
🎗️ A Memorable Moment
One of the most impactful experiences in Ken’s journey was the support he received from ARAUCO during his battle with cancer. “They helped me lots when I went through cancer,” he shares. That compassion left a lasting impression and deepened his connection to the company.

“It’s a good place and a safe place to work,” Ken says. His advice to anyone starting out in his field is simple but powerful—trust in the team, and you’ll thrive.
