Meet Max Yarbrough, Sales Manager based in Atlanta.

For the past five years, Max has been a key part of our Import Panels team—supporting customers, collaborating with mills, and helping our sales team navigate everything from product knowledge to market conditions.

What he values most? The people. Max takes pride in the strong team culture here in Atlanta and the success achieved together along the way.

What is your role at ARAUCO, and what does a typical day look like for you?
I am a Sales Manager on the Import Panels team. A typical day for me involves a handful of different things. To name a few, I'm always talking to and helping both new and existing customers find solutions to help their businesses. I provide support to our sales team on just about anything panels related, whether that's product knowledge, pricing, inventory analysis, market conditions or anything else that could pop up. I also communicate regularly with our mills on supply levels, lead times, quality control and new product developments.

What motivated you to join ARAUCO?
I joined Arauco for several reasons, but what stuck out to me the most at first was the core group of tenured leaders in North America, and the opportunity for young salespeople like myself to grow professionally.

What do you enjoy most about your job and the work you do?
What I enjoy most is who I work with and who I work for. We have a great group here in the Atlanta office. I'm also proud of what we have been able to accomplish as a team since I joined Arauco. We've worked together to overcome challenges and have found ways to achieve historical levels of success during my time here.

Can you share a memorable experience at ARAUCO?
One of my favorite, yet bittersweet memories at Arauco was celebrating the retirement of Dave Patch. I worked alongside Dave for 5 years, and he taught me a lot about our products, our business, and just about anything else you can think of. At the time of his retirement, he was the longest tenured employee in the Atlanta office. It was awesome getting to celebrate him and send him off the way he deserved.

How do you stay motivated and continue to grow professionally?
I stay motivated by working hard and having faith in God's plan. Everything else will work out how it's supposed to.

What advice would you give to someone starting in your field or role?
Work hard and be a sponge. There is a lot of opportunity in this industry for young people that are hungry.

We teamed up with DIY and design duo Cathy Poshusta and Garrett Poshusta of The Grit and Polish to bring timeless character to a home renovation using our Radiata Pine Nickel Gap Ship Lap.

In their latest Instagram Reel, they share how Arauco shiplap helped transform the space—adding warmth, texture, and classic detail that feels right at home in both historic and modern interiors.
